The date and time commitments required for Crew Captains and the Check-in Crew differ. All commitments required of the Check-in Crew are required of Crew Captains, but there are additional dates and times to commit to for the Crew Captains.
Listed below are the time commitments required of both Crew Captains and the Check-in Crew:
Welcome Crew Training
Times: TBD
- Tuesday, May 16-Sunday, May 21
New Student Orientation
Times: Approximately 11:15 a.m.-1:45 p.m.
- May 22-25, 30-31
- June 1, 4-7, 11-15, 20-22, 25, 27-29
- July 2, 5-6, 9-12, 16-20
- August 14-17
Summer Welcome
Times: TBD based on schedule of events
- Sunday, June 25-Friday, June 30
OTeam Exit
Time: TBD
- Friday, July 21
Additional Crew Captain Commitments
In addition to the above dates and times, Crew Captains will be required to work 10 hours/week in the Student Orientation and Transition Programs office during the spring semester and approximately 3-5 hours/week over the summer. Crew Captains will also be required to participate in Fall Welcome (Tuesday, August 15-Saturday, August 26).
